1952 was the peak of tropical recipes in the magazines. Pineapple desserts were something new and exotic and this one looks luscious! The only caveat: Del Monte Apricot or Peach nectar. As far as I know, they don't make this anymore, if anyone knows otherwise, let me know! There must be a substitute out there, or you can get creative and make your own with a juicer. The treat looks pretty and refreshing!
